I took both of your Visio training classes last year. I’m currently working on an Org Chart and whenever I try to change the font size and click out of the individual position box, it reverts back to 8pt. I’ve tried everything to get it to stay what I want but it won’t work…..any suggestions?

The quickest way to solve this problem is to edit your text by selecting the entire shape rather than double-clicking into the text box of the shape. If you drag a selection net around the desired shapes, with your mouse, then you can quickly change the font settings by using the formatting toolbar. This will apply the changes to all selected shapes. If you do need to double-click into one of the org chart shapes to make edits later, it will revert back to the 8pt. font and then you will again have to select the shape and change the font.

Thanks for sharing these shortcuts. The last one should say “…while you _right_ click…” I was wondering it wasn’t working :) Thanks again.
