No header on title page

How do I prevent headers and footers from being shown on the title slide of my presentation?

By default, PowerPoint will display headers and footers on all slides in your presentation. To prevent the headers and footers from showing up on the title slide, do the following:

  1. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Header and Footer
  2. Use the Header and Footer dialog box to create your header or footer
  3. Make sure to check the box next to Don't show on Title Slide at the bottom of the dialog box
  4. Click Apply to All

(Note: if you want the header or footer to be applied only to the current slide, click Apply instead.)
