Quickly Reformat Copied Text in Microsoft Word

Have you ever copied text from an email or the Internet to your Word document only to have to spend precious time reformatting it to match the rest of your document?

Use this clever trick instead:

Copy text from the original source (Internet, Email, Excel file, another Word document, etc.)

Paste into the current document (CTRL-V)

Immediately after you paste, click the Paste Options smart tag button

Select Match Destination Formatting
