Use Quotes for better searching
How can I improve my search results?
When searching for something on the internet try using quotes in order to get an exact match to your search terms. Using quotes around search terms on a site like Google will perform what is called a literal search for an exact match. Literal searches work best when looking for a very specific or narrow topic.
Try it yourself by performing the same search with and without quotes, you should see different results. For example try: adobe acrobat reader 8 download and “adobe acrobat reader 8 download” – the first result will show you an Acrobat Reader download but for version 9. The second will show only version 8.
