Often times you may want to either give the PowerPoint presentation to someone who does not have the software on their PC, or you will want to use a PC to show the presentation but it doesn’t have PowerPoint software on it. You can easily do this with the Package for CD feature. This allows you to package the presentation in an executable file so it will load and can be viewed on any machine. This includes a PowerPoint viewer that allows you to view the presentation without having PowerPoint installed. However, you will not be able to make any edits to a Package for CD file.

1. Click the Office Button
2. Trace to Publish and click Package for CD
3. Type a name in the Name the CD field
4. Click the Options button to change any settings (be sure the PowerPoint Viewer option is checked)
5. Put a CD into your machine then click Copy to CD
