Outlook: Quick Steps
Create Quick Steps in Outlook to automate common processes. Quick Steps allow you to automate repetitive Outlook steps, such as replying to and filing an email, with just one click of your mouse. When accessing a pre-created step for the first time, you will be prompted to complete the needed information.
- From your Mail, click on the Home tab, in the Quick Steps group, click on the To Manager item
- View the options, then click Cancel
- Click the More
button of the Quick Steps gallery, then select New Quick Step, then choose Custom

- In the Name field type: Reply & File

- Click the drop-down in the Choose an Action field and select Reply

- Click the Add Action button, then click the drop-down again and select Move to Folder

- Click the drop-down in the Choose folder field and select a folder
- Click Finish
- Send yourself an email, then select that email when you receive it, and click the new Reply & File quick step
- Click Send to send the reply to yourself and verify that the original e-mail was filed in your selected folder
