3 Google Products You Should Be Using
|
It’s almost too terrible to imagine a time before Google. Remember movie phone, yellow pages, card catalogues, and short term memory? They were truly the Dark Ages.
Even Google has evolved. Follow this link to see all of the products they offer. (http://www.google.com/intl/en/options/)
Here are 4 of my favorites.
- Goog 411 (http://www.google.com/goog411/index.html) – Dial 1-800-GOOG-411 (1-800-466-4411) Tell the automated operator what you want, and he’ll connect you. It’s free. It’s simple. I love it.
- Picasa (http://picasa.google.com/) – Upload photos and videos into albums to share with your friends and family worldwide. You can lock down access to only approved users. Each username gets 8 Gigs of space.
- Google Alerts (http://www.google.com/alerts?hl=en) – Google can automatically alert you by e-mail whenever someone writes a blog entry or updates a website with content that would interest you. Type in your company’s name to see your customers’ comments. Type in skiing if you like skiing. Type in Cheeseburgers if you like cheeseburgers.
