Conducting your Banking online is an efficient way to conduct your business. But how can you be sure it is safe and secure?

Follow these tips:

1. Create long complicated passwords
2. Do not trust emails or phone calls that supposedly come from your bank. Instead, hang up and either email or call your bank directly on what you know is a valid # or address to confirm the original solicitation.
3. Never use a public computer to conduct your banking business online
4. When you are done, click the logoff icon on the bank’s website before you close the site
